BG Brake Rectifier - Standard size up to 100, not suitable for frame sizes above 100
The brake rectifier BG is a half-wave rectifier with overvoltage protection.
The rectifier is used for small motors if no special requirements are required in terms of the release reaction time of the brake. It cannot be used at elevated ambient temperatures and cannot be used under the cooling conditions of the brakes.
BMH Brake Rectifier - Size 71 to 225
For low ambient temperatures, BMH brake rectifiers with heating current can be used to heat the brakes while the motor is stationary. Electric heating is always recommended, as it may cause moisture condensation, frosting or wet corrosive gases that rest for long periods of time. The BMH unit has the same electronic circuit 1Y as the BGE, thus providing the same short reaction time for the BM(G) brake.
The BMH is designed as a module in a DIN rail housing with a plug-in connection for control cabinet installation.
BME Brake Rectifier - Frame size for 71 to 225
The BME Brake Rectifier is a half-wave rectifier with overvoltage protection components and electronic controls to reduce brake release response time. Its function is similar to the rectifier type BGE, but it is designed to be mounted in a control panel on a DIN rail instead of being mounted in a motor conduit box. The BME has the same high executive function as BGE for fast brake release, allowing the motor brake system to cycle at high rates. We can connect the BME to normal or fast braking reaction times. The environmental conditions in which BME is primarily used for motors do not allow the use of BGE rectifiers installed in the motor junction box.
