Monitor conveyor belt scale speed in demanding bulk material handling applications with the highly reliable and accurate 60-12 Digital Belt Speed Sensor. Direct-coupling the sensor to the conveyor tail pulley, snubbing roll, or large diameter return roller ensures accurate belt-travel readout. No wheels ride on the belt, eliminating problems related to material build-up and slippage. The sensor element uses a brushless, pulse generator to produce a stream of pulses, each representing a unit of belt travel. The pulse stream frequency is proportional to true belt speed.
