The fans are designed mainly for device installation and are preferably used in air-conditioners, hygiene equipment, clean room filter units and HVAC systems. During the development of the backward-curved impeller for use without a spiral casing, special emphasis was placed on optimising efficiency over a wide characteristic curve with high power density, whilst having as optimal a noise level as possible. The fans are designed to convey air and other non-aggressive gases or vapours. As drive motors, asynchronous external rotor motors from our own production are used.
